Although each facility may differ in terms of features, these general services are offered by most ADC’s…Social activity, transportation, meals & snacks, personal care, and therapeutic activities. According to the (Met Life Annual Survey of Adult Day Care costs 2007) the average daily cost of Adult Day Care is $99.00. The average adult patient to staff ratio is 6 to 1 with a maximum of 20 to 1.


Assisted living facilities are an option for adults that do not require the 24 hour nursing and medical care of a nursing home. Usually they will provide scheduled meals in a central dining room. Typically facilities will charge a base rate and offer other services on a pay-per-need basis. It is important to know exactly what the fees for the other services are.
